Working Families Deserve a Court That Respects Their Time
Jack Ezell Initiative Focused on Efficient, Fair Justice for Harris County Precinct 2 Families

Jack Ezell Candidate - JP
BriefingWire.com, 7/08/2026 - Houston, TEXAS — Jack Ezell, candidate for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, Place 2, today is accelerating his campaign initiative centered on one simple principle: working families deserve a court that respects their time.

Releases new video to frame the concerns “Your Time Matters”: youtu.be/FntbV0FdznM (YouTube 1:23 min.)

For thousands of residents across Harris County Precinct 2, balancing work, raising children, school activities, and household responsibilities leaves little room for unnecessary delays when interacting with the court system. Whether resolving traffic citations, landlord-tenant disputes, small claims matters, or other cases handled by the Justice of the Peace Court, families depend on a judicial system that is professional, efficient, and accessible.

Ezell, a practicing attorney with more than four decades of courtroom experience, says restoring confidence in the court begins with experienced leadership and a commitment to serving the public.

"Every case represents a real person, a real family, and often someone who had to take time off work or arrange childcare just to appear in court," said Jack Ezell. "Justice should never become an additional burden on working families. I am running because I believe the people of Precinct 2 deserve a court that treats every citizen with dignity, applies the law fairly, and works efficiently for everyone."

Ezell's campaign is built around three core principles:

• Experience that Matters

• Fair and Impartial Justice

• A Court That Respects Your Time

As the campaign moves forward, Ezell plans to meet directly with neighborhood organizations, business leaders, veterans, faith communities, and civic groups throughout Precinct 2 to discuss how the Justice of the Peace Court impacts everyday life.

The campaign is also embracing innovative technology to increase transparency and voter engagement. A new 24/7 AI Campaign Information Hotline (voice or text) will allow residents to ask questions about the responsibilities of the Justice of the Peace, learn more about Jack Ezell's qualifications, receive updates on campaign events, and better understand the role of the court.

"Government should be accessible," Ezell added. "If technology allows us to better inform voters and answer their questions around the clock, then we should use it to better serve our community."

Residents can learn more about Jack Ezell's campaign, volunteer, or contribute to the campaign by visiting www.EzellCampaign.com or calling the campaign's 24/7 AI Information Hotline at (713) 575-2076.

As Election Day approaches, Ezell says his message is simple:

"Justice should be fair. Justice should be efficient. And every family deserves a court that works for them."
