Six delegates, representatives of Wizz Air attended a one-day EASA Regulation 965 Part SPA training that was provided virtually via the zoom platform. The trainign course was delivered on June 21st by SAS CEO Steve Bentley.About Wizz Air:

About the Training Instructor:
Steve Bentley has over 40 years experience in commercial aviation, including more than 12 years in the airworthiness department of Virgin Atlantic a major UK international airline. Steve has an in depth knowledge of the EASA regulatory structure, is a competent trainer with a huge portfolio of subjects including both aviation operations and maintenance disciplines, he is a trained ISO 9000 lead auditor, as well as IOSA trained.
About the Training:
EASA Regulation 965 Part SPA – Specific Approvals for Industry & Regulatory Authorities – PBN, MNPS, RVSM, LVO & ETOPS – 1 Day
EASA Part SPA was issued as Annex V to Commission Regulation 965/2012.
Part SPA provides for the Implementing Rules, (IRs), Acceptable Means of Compliance, (AMCs), and Guidance Material, (GMs) related to Specific Approvals which are available for an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) –Air Carrier (AC) to apply for.
This training aims to familiarize Regulatory Authorities Current AOC holders and other Operational and Concerned Personnel Maintenance Management & Operations with a detailed understanding of SPA Operations Approval and the requirements for an Operator and Maintenance Organisation to remain compliant.
