Washington, DC- Today, Award-winning Journalist and Show Host, Kelly Wright joins forces with Decorated War Hero and Leadership Author, Retired Sergeant Major Keith L. Craig to announce the launch of their “United We Serve” Community Town Hall Series, on September 11, 2020. With their inaugural discussion, the pair will host a conversation in remembrance of victims that tragically lost their lives during those historical events of “911” and especially commemorate the victims of past and present acts of violence and brutality in our community, all around the nation.
“United We Serve” is a transparent, impactful, and solution-based conversation about police brutality, racial injustice, challenges with voting, and other disparities in our community. Participants are selected from various cities in the U.S. and are individuals who possess passion, expertise and ones of whom have exemplified commitment to their community.
This week’s town hall is a discussion, based in Dallas, TX and features Community News Publisher and Editor at I Messenger Enterprises, Cheryl Smith, Community Advocate, Author, and Founder and Senior Pastor of Abundant Life AME Church and the Joy Empowerment Center, Rev. Dr. Michael Waters , Co-founder of the Second Chance Community Improvement Program (SCCIP) and Deputy Director of Lone Star Justice Alliance, Yulise Reaves Waters, Esq., and Financial Empowerment Expert and Coach, Clifton Ellis Johnson, Founder & Executive Director of EMPOWER Series, Inc.
