Sofema Aviation Services (SAS) [URL=http://www.sassofia.com]www.sassofia.com[/URL] is pleased to announce that the Certification Specification 25 (CS 25) training was successfully completed by 15 delegates from Ethiopian Airlines Group.The course was carried out by the experienced SAS instructor Zahid Munawar on 18-22 October 2021 at Ethiopian Airlines, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
What was the training about?
The aim of this course is to give the delegates a basic understanding of the Certification Specifications CS-25 and an overview of the key fundamentals of Large Aeroplanes certification. They will learn in detail about the Certification Process related to Large Turbine Powered Aeroplanes & the Safety Assessment Process Related to CS25-1309. After completing the training the students will gain the ability to use the regulatory information to document and demonstrate compliance.

Get to know the instructor
Zahid Munawar has over 35 years of working experience. He is a graduate from ENSICA (Ecole NationaleSuperieure d’ Ingenieures de Constructions Aeronautiques), Toulouse, France. His career started as a Captain in the Pakistan Army in 1984, and in 1993 the instructor started working in the aviation industry. Over the years, Zahid gained experience in Aircraft Engineering Safety, Part 21, Airworthiness, Design certification, Auditing of Part 146 & Part 148 Organizations, Part 148 Manufacturing Organizations, Aviation Training & more. During his career in the Army, he was selected for Master in Engineering at ENSICA. He is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society New Zealand branch.
