During an industry seminar held virtually, the spokesperson of R.P.College of Pharmacy asserted, “Our Bachelors of Pharmacy (Practice) or B Pharm is a four-year bridge course, where candidates within an experience of three years can apply for it. This course allows every practicing pharmacist to review the prescriptions or case notes within their practice setting and resolve and identify all the drug-related issues. It helps in ensuring improved patient care and lessens the unwanted healthcare expenditure.”

The Directorate of Health Education heads the process of  admission in B Pharm bridge course  at R.P.College of Pharmacy. This course offers a good understanding of the physiology and anatomy of a particular system, the entire disease process, the signs and symptoms of a particular disease, and various therapeutic schedules with their benefits and drawbacks. The faculty follows a blended mode of teaching, including didactic and onsite learning. Students also learn by doing case presentations and completing a variety of assignments.

The spokesperson further informed, “From topics like anxiety and depression to Parkinson’s disease, schizophrenia, and epilepsy, we cover them all as part of our syllabus for the B Pharma course. We also teach our students about the elements of anatomy, diagnostic techniques, pharmacotherapeutics of disease, etiopathogenesis, and clinical manifestation associated with CG disorders. On the other hand, our D Pharm course students visit the details of toxicology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, biochemistry, clinical pathology, human anatomy and physiology, and health education and community pharmacy.”

The D Pharm course additionally trains students in the areas of pharmaceutical jurisprudence, drug store, and business management, and hospital and clinical pharmacy. Unlike the long-duration B Pharma programme, R.P. Rajputana College of Pharmacy has introduced this two-year diploma in pharmaceutical sciences for concise learning.
