NCAA approves the core courses offered by NFC Academy for high schoolers because they meet academic eligibility required for this level. Students can start the course anytime and from anywhere to make their daily schedule. The Academy assures a minimum of 24 credit hours for the students graduating under its online programs. The standard schedule is based on the traditional 6-period day, while students can also choose another schedule that fits their learning schedule.
The academic department of NFC Academy prepares the students for college preparations with their own Path to Graduation program which is updated each academic year. If a student has a specific preference or interest in an elective, they can choose the same while integrating it with core academic requirements. This program is updated every year for each student as they progress from class 9 to 12. The transfer students can get their Path to Graduation designed at the time of their entry to the program.
Before enrolling, students can also try an online lesson to see how it works to see if they believe this will be a program they can meet the academic requirements. Once enrolled, they can choose dual enrollment to earn both college and high school credits at the same time. The Academy has partnered with the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, to allow dual enrollment and begin the college programs early.
