The course, run by MHFA England, qualified our attending employees as Mental Health First Aiders. Amongst other things it has given a more in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing and has resulted in us now having 8 Mental Health First Aiders in-house.Within the 2 week training, a range of practical and theory skills were explored in order to reassure and support a person using the Mental Health First Aid action plan.
