The party that is being hailed by Conservative right wing based news media and questionable *polls*is the very same party that created the most divisive nation and its citizens since World War 2. With every new Prime Minister there is always a significant outcome to their premiership - good or bad. In the case of all but one Conservative Prime Minister, all significant outcomes were not just bad, but were chaotic. With an almost unbroken spell of Conservative Prime Ministers and the individual choices they made, collectively the concept of Thatcher's “There is no such thing as society.” has been turned into a reality.
Whilst when reviewing those circumstances that enabled this, the aims and ambitions of the Conservative party's plans have now been usurped by an even more extreme right wing politician and party, namely the ill named Reform party and its radical Trump supporting leader Nigel Farage.
Such is the confidence of all right wing media in its triumph it even states repeatedly Farage's arrogant claim that he 'will' become the next Prime Minister - and with that 90% domination of British media - only 10% less than the domination in Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea's 100% control of their nation's media.
Having established that so-called 'reality', right wing media is now completing its abuse of power in suggesting the Conservative party are the 'second' most likely winners of a general election.
This is the party that created this whole concept of “There is no such thing as society.”, having been rejected wholeheartedly in the last election with the worst loss of seats ever recorded by the Conservative party is NOW, 2 years later the possible winner of the next election based on the dubious 'polls' conducted recently.
The right wing Conservative Party that did this since 2010:
1/. David Cameron - 2010 to 2016 - Enabled the Brexit referendum (because Farage put pressure on him) and did not allow necessary controls on right wing media to be put in place
2/. Theresa May - 2016 to 2019 - Did also not allow necessary controls on right wing media to be put in place
3/. Boris Johnson - 2019 to 2022 - Suspended undemocratically Parliament until the High Court called it unlawful, Sole creator of Partygate and fined for breaking lockdown rules - forced to resign
Liz Truss - 2022 - Her September 2022 “mini-budget introduced over £50bn of unfunded tax cuts causing according to the Daily Express (major supporter of the Conservative party) a “cost the UK of £74bn”
Rishi Sunak - 2022 to 2024 - Ignored advice in 2023 from many bodies and academics about the danger of the domination of media from any one political persuasion and its effect on democracy and the cohesion of society.
Since the election of the Labour government in 2024, right wing media has gone to war, predictably, and with the 5000 seat Council by-elections in 2 weeks time, it is 'predicted' by right wing media to create a landslide win for the Reform party -as planed.
If all of the above is not enough to wake up this 'sleeping' truly democratic yet indifferent nation of community and fair minded citizens - then they deserve everything they get?
