(Houston, TX) — The Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the inaugural Houston Regional Veterans Business Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the George Bush Center, 6827 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX 77379. This luncheon will recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements of veteran-owned businesses and the individuals who champion their success.The event will feature keynote speaker Doug Marcaida, veteran and well-known celebrity judge from the hit series "Forged in Fire", which has aired for 10 seasons and 243 episodes on the History Channel and is currently streaming on Netflix. As a USAF veteran and business owner, Marcaida will share his personal experiences as a veteran entrepreneur and the importance of supporting the veteran business community.

The Veterans Business Awards Luncheon will spotlight the contributions of local veteran-owned businesses and community advocates who work tirelessly to help veterans achieve the American Dream of business ownership. Awards will be presented in multiple categories, including Veteran-Owned Business of the Year, Veteran Advocate of the Year, and Emerging Veteran Entrepreneur.
The Chamber is currently accepting nominations for award recipients as well as seeking sponsors to support this prestigious event. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals who want to invest in the veteran community and its continued success.
