It is symmetrical, fair, and rooted in the BBC’s duty to maintain accuracy, impartiality and transparency.
The Example That Demonstrates the Issue
During recent BBC political coverage, the senior journalist Laura Kuenssberg remarked:

This comment was: dismissive, value-loaded, editorialised, not required for factual reporting, clearly capable of shaping audience perception
