The course was carried out by the experienced SAS instructor Zahid Munawar on 13-15 September 2021.

What is the aim of the training?

The aim of this course is to give the delegates an understanding of the Design Organisation Assurance System, the continuing airworthiness obligations related to Products Parts and Appliances, the mechanism whereby the CVE can certify full compliance with requirements, the methodology used to manage and control investigations, and the development of Service information. When the training is complete, the students will achieve a high level of competency within the regulatory obligations in their organisation & will gain the ability to actively engage in the involvement of all the regulatory authorities and EASA.

Get to know the instructor

Zahid Munawar has over 35 years of working experience. Heis a graduate from ENSICA (Ecole NationaleSuperieure d’ Ingenieures de Constructions Aeronautiques), Toulouse, France.His career started as a Captain in the Pakistan Army in 1984, and in 1993 the instructor started working in the aviation industry. Over the years, Zahid gained experience in Aircraft Engineering Safety, Part 21, Airworthiness, Design certification, Auditing of Part 146 & Part 148 Organizations, Part 148 Manufacturing Organizations, Aviation Training & more. During his career in the Army, he was selected for Master in Engineering at ENSICA. He is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society New Zealand branch.
