FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEWales, UK - Self Condensing Boilers
A condensing boiler is a highly efficient hot water and heating system that can be fuelled by either oil or gas. The efficiency of a condensing boiler is far higher than that of a non-condensing boiler and this is made possible by its larger, or sometimes dual heat exchanger. A condensing system will transfer as much heat from the boiler's burner as possible resulting in minimal heat being lost in hot gases through the flue and this makes them highly efficient. Newer, modern condensing boilers also use any waste vapour and turn it into heat.
Statistically, condensing boilers use less fuel and power and produce less carbon emission compared to other types of boilers. A non-condensing boiler can be just 50-70% efficient, compared to some condensing boilers which can be up to 90% efficient.
Total Boiler Services are experts in the installation, repair and servicing of all types, makes and models of condensing boilers.
Types of Condensing Boilers
Regular condensing boilers heat your hot water through a hot water cylinder
Combination condensing boilers give you instant hot water without the need for a cylinder
What is the difference between a Condensing and a Non-condensing Boiler?
Non-condensing boiler systems take in air from inside a room compared to a condensing boiler which takes its air from the outside. This results in a reduced chance of anything being sucked into the system and causing issues, problems and breakdowns. The Modern condensing boiler systems are also completely sealed for better heat insulation and operating efficiencies.
What is the difference between a Combi and Condensing Boiler?
A combi boiler heats your water on demand rather than storing it in a water tank. A condensing boiler uses condensing technology to make better use of the heat they generate from burning fuels, as well as reusing waste fuel to go back into the system again. A combi boiler can also be a condensing boiler, called a combination condensing boiler which gives you instant hot water on demand without the need for a hot water tank.

Will a Condensing Boiler save me money?
Statistics have shown that if everyone who currently uses a gas or oil heating system in the UK installed a high efficiency condensing boiler it would save enough fuel to heat 1.9 million homes a year, as well as reduce CO2 emissions by 6.7 million tonnes.
A condensing boiler can be up to 25% more efficient than other types of boilers and some can reach up to 99% efficiency, all of which reduce energy use and energy bills, as well as reducing carbon footprint.
How do you know if you need a new Boiler?
There are many signs that a commercial boiler may need replacing or just repairing and issues can often be identified before it breaks down completely. This can save you and your business a huge amount of downtime and money.
