TOP 5K/10K and 1 Mile Run Walk & Roll

McKinney, TX March 1, 2011 -- We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Triumph over Pain 5K/10K & Family 1 Mile Fun Run, which is taking place on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Cooper Aerobics Center at Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of chronic pain conditions like Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Amyotrophic Lateral Scherosis (ALS), and other neurological diseases characterized by intense, chronic pain. – and to raise funds for much needed pain research.

An estimated 75 million Americans currently live with chronic pain. Triumph Over Pain is not only a 5K/10K & Family Fun Run; the event provides an opportunity for pain patients to network and learn about treatment options.

The race is a scenic route through Craig Ranch in McKinney, TX. Both the 5K and 10K courses are certified. We have added a wheel chair category for the 5K & 10K for 2011. Keith Mansfield Band will be performing during the event. Raffle prizes will be given out. All proceeds will go toward funding pain research.
