Sofiene L Khachnaoui has worked for many years as a HVAC/R professional and an engineer. He has also led teams of professionals on various assignments that have varied in the degree of complexity and importance. Through the years, he has acquired operations knowledge and a good ability to work with board operators, instrumentation and control systems engineering; developed PID’s, control loops and alarm/emergency/shutdown and safety instrumentation systems.Sofiene L Khachnaoui has also provided construction support and start-up assistance of various systems. He communicated with and supervised the work of different local and international contractors and 3rd parties. He helped create and design solutions for US Navy Marine engines equipment and HVAC/R systems and assisted in their continuous upkeep to include a quality assurance and training program. Sofiene L Khachnaoui is extensively qualified on different types of hydraulic and HVAC/R systems, mechanical, pneumatic and electronic controls. He has tested, repaired, maintained and rebuilt several marine diesel engines, related components and associated equipment to include Detroit, Cummins, Caterpillar, Fairbanks, Volvo and Caterpillar engines.
Sofiene Khachnaoui also completed Maritime Interception Operations schools at Blackwater USA, NC and implemented the concepts of tactical communications, effective intelligence gathering, internal and external tactical movements, compliant and non-compliant boarding, and force protection search procedures. He has worked as a software engineer and service specialist and he is an expert in system integration with various outside vendors (Trance, Cuttler/Hammer, Carrier, York etc)
