• Medicaid

Medicaid is a government-funded insurance program that provides low to no cost health coverage for eligible individuals with low income. The benefits of this insurance differs in each state, as some states have already expanded their Medicaid program. In Utah, a separate Medicaid coverage is provided for children aged zero to five.

Third-Party Payment

To help patients with no insurance, the dental office refers them to a third-party payment company like CareCredit. The company spreads the dental fees over the course of many months, charging little to no interest. This way, the parents of the patients will have a longer time to settle the payment.
