Music Bugs, UK. Music Bugs Brighton, who provide sensory music and movement classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers have joined up with KalliKids to support their ‘Sponsored Child’ programme. The initiative, which runs across 16 counties and offers 80 places, encourages young children to try new skills for free.Children of all ages, from all walks of life, are invited to apply to take part in the project with Music Bugs Brighton. If their application is successful, they will be offered preschool music and singing classes free of charge for 1 year.
Kelly Haigh, owner of Music Bugs Brighton said: “This really is a fantastic imitative that I encourage all parents with children under the age of 5 who live in Brighton and the surrounding area to take part in. Participating in a pre-school music and singing class encourages many important developmental skills for children. Our classes are more than just a ‘musical experience’ and will help children to learn and develop a range of important skills that will help to equip them for school and beyond’.
Now in its second year, the KalliKids Sponsored Child Scheme benefited 20 children in 2014 and will provide 85 places nationally in 2015.

The closing date for applications is 20th February, 2015. Winners will be announced by KalliKids at the end of March.
