January 14, 2010, New York, NY- In the wake of the tragic natural disaster that has devastated the island of Haiti, hip-hop artist, Traum Diggs is donating proceeds from his performance at Uncle Mike’s in Tribeca, to aid in the relief efforts. The show takes place on this Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 10PM at Uncle Mike’s, located at 57 Murray St (Murray St. btw Church St. and West Broadway) New York, NY 10007.“It really didn’t require much deliberation,” says Traum Diggs. “I’m not the biggest artist on the planet but I do have a voice and a vehicle to have my voice heard so it’s my duty, honor, and privilege to use that voice to give back.” “As a descendant of The Caribbean and a human being in general, I thought it necessary to do whatever I could to help.”
Organizations receiving donations from the show include the American Red Cross, UNICEF, and the Save The Children foundation.
